Mr. Paolo Caffarel and his young son bought an old abandoned factory in Turin so they could launch their great business idea: transforming cocoa into chocolate, the “food of the Gods.” They are known as the first to prepare gianduja, a decadent chocolate-hazelnut pairing. Caffarel believes the finest cocoa from Ecuador and Ghana and the best Piedmont hazelnuts, grown near their plant, are the most important ingredients for Caffarel uniqueness.
