Mustard Herring - belongs to the group of Traditional Herrings. Commercially produced mustard herring is often a favorite with children, due to its very high sugar content. Ours isn't that sweet - french dijon and old style grainy mustards are used along with muscovado sugar. Perfect with boiled new potatoes, or on top of knäckebröd. A real treat anytime of day.
