This knowledge has been passed down through three generations, starting with its founder, Marcello Guidi, who left his Tuscan hometown of Lucca in 1945.
In 1981, his son Marco, now acting as owner & president of the company, relocated the headquarters of Guidi Marcello Ltd. to Santa Monica, California, when Los Angeles was ripe & ready for a purveyor of fine Italian products. With the support of his wife Ani, and later his daughter Gessica, the business evolved into a budding enterprise, which grew to include a now long standing staff of employees.
