In 1996, Larry and his father Lawrence “Yoyo” Damico, took over Hyde Park Produce. Yoyo had been in the produce business since he was a grade-schooler in the 1940s and Larry started to work with his dad when he was only 14 years old. This first store grew thanks to you, our wonderfully loyal customers, who also encouraged us to move to a bigger location. With our customers’ support, the new Hyde Park Produce opened on January 23, 2008 in our current location. Joining in on the fun with their grandfather and father are Larry, III, aka "Little Larry" and Anthony(Larry's Sons). We are a family and we hope you feel that when you walk through our doors.
