Founded in 1965, Vashon Thriftway is locally owned and operated by the Mathews family. Vashon Thriftway is a small, locally owned grocery store located on Vashon Island. We offer a deli, bakery, meat cutters, seafood handlers, and a wide selection of products ranging everything from cookies to wine. Participation in many events, from Little League Baseball, Allied Arts, local school events, to helping with the Island Food Bank, and the Vashon Senior Center -- all show our commitment to the friendly, caring, small-town atmosphere we enjoy.
